Cashmere is one of the finest natural fibers: soft, light, temperature-regulating and...
exceptionally durable. At FYNCH-HATTON we also rely on selected ones
Merino and cashmere qualities that, when properly cared for, will maintain their shape and shape for many years
Maintain character – real favorite pieces “forever”.

1. Wash gently
• Wash cashmere cold or at a maximum of 20 °C.
• Select wool or hand wash cycle.
• Use a mild wool detergent – no fabric softener.
• Turn garment inside out to reduce friction.

2. Dry properly
• Do not wring out, just squeeze carefully.
• Roll up in a towel to absorb water.
• Dry flat, away from sun and heating.
This method prevents fine fibers from wearing out.

3. Remove pilling - gently and regularly
• Pilling is normal and occurs due to friction.
• Treat with a cashmere comb or soft lint brush.
• Do not press too hard so that the surface remains supple.
This means that FYNCH-HATTON knitted models remain visibly well cared for.

4. Store properly
• Always store cashmere lying down, not hanging.
• Wash and store clean before the off-season.
• Use cotton bags or air-permeable boxes.
• Cedar wood or lavender protect against moths.
High-quality knitted pieces in particular, such as the cashmere blends from FYNCH-HATTON, stay in their shape over the long term.

5. Refresh without washing
• Simply air it out after wearing.
• Cashmere regenerates with fresh air and needs less frequent exposure
